What I don't understand is what Apple got out of it. Seems like they're being Sony-ish in their proprietary shizzle (AT&T-only iPhone as the next Minidisc?); more practically, you'd think they'd've sold a jillion more iPhones if they weren't exclusive. As they say in Connecticut, "pobody's nerfect." Seemed like it was a way for AT&T to avoid fixing/upgrading their network. What I don’t understand is what Apple got out of it.
