Simple words about Apple

Steve Jobs is a man who understands the value of good design in an ever more technically complex world. Back in 2003 he was interviewed in a Rolling Stone article. In it he says many prescient things. I believe the most valuable was his statement about what Apple really is:

“Apple has a core set of talents, and those talents are: we do, I think, very good hardware design; we do very good industrial design; and we write very good system and application software. And we’re really good at packaging that all together into a product.”

Steve’s fundamental understanding of Apple’s place in the technological ecosystem is what drives this company to build relentlessly better hardware, software and services. If Steve is really sick, we wish him well and we look forward to Apples future pursuit of the synergistic marriage of design and technology.
